Employees act honestly and with integrity, treat colleagues and clients with respect, and protect the Company's reputation, property and confidential information. Confidential client, employee and commercial information must not be disclosed without authority, during or after employment, except where disclosure is required by law.
Actual or potential conflicts of interest, including second jobs, directorships, freelance work and personal interests in suppliers or clients, must be declared to the line manager and HR before the position arises. Gifts and hospitality that could reasonably be seen to influence a decision must be declined or declared. Anything above the Company's stated limit is logged in the gifts register.
Breach of these standards may be dealt with under the disciplinary procedure. Employees who are unsure whether conduct is appropriate should ask their manager or HR before acting.
